The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications codes and regulations. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about construction and has a strong eye for detail.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and regulationsMonitor and report on the progress of construction activities highlighting any potential issues or delaysReview and approve construction plans drawings and specificationsCoordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve any constructionrelated issuesKeep accurate records of all construction activities including daily reports inspection reports and photographsConduct quality control checks to ensure that materials and workmanship meet project standardsAttend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress and any issues that may ariseAssist in the preparation of progress reports and other project documentationStay updated on industry standards codes and regulations to ensure compliance in construction activitiesConduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsMentor and train junior inspectors as neededQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction codes standards and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsProficient in using construction inspection tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to identify and report potential issuesKnowledge of health and safety regulations and proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites as neededValid drivers license and reliable transportation#J-18808-Ljbffr
