Civil engineer

Madre Integrated Engineering Full time We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with experience in wastewater and sewerage infrastructure projects to support the design, execution, and maintenance of treatment systems and networks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high quality project delivery in compliance with local standards and environmental regulations. Responsibilities Plan, design, and supervise construction of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), and sewer networks Review and interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications Oversee site activities including excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, and drainage systems Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, environmental) Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution Prepare and review method statements, reports, and as built drawings Support procurement and material selection for civil works Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and environmental compliance Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. 5+ years of experience in wastewater, sewage treatment, or water infrastructure projects. Experience in sewer networks, drainage systems, and wastewater treatment plant civil works. Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, concrete structures, and hydraulic systems. Experience in STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) or WWTP projects. Knowledge of environmental engineering principles and wastewater process infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site layouts, and technical specifications. Familiarity with international standards and local regulations related to water and wastewater systems. Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools). Good communication and coordination skills.
