Civil Engineer Inspector

Support the planning, implementation, and inspection of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and hands-on experience in construction site inspection, materials testing, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Assist in reviewing construction drawings, blueprints, and project documentation.Monitor contractor performance and verify work progress.Document daily activities, prepare inspection reports, and communicate findings to senior engineers.Ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards and approved procedures.Report and follow up on any non-conformities or issues identified during inspections.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.Support testing and commissioning activities as required.Maintain up-to-date records and logs related to project inspections and compliance.Qualifications, Knowledge & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction practices.Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Good communication and reporting skills.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
