Civil Engineer

AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a major Roads and Infrastructure and bridges projects located in Dubai. The role involves both inspection and the supervision of Roads and Infrastructure works of the project and to ensure that the activities are being executed in accordance with the project specification.Supervise and coordinate the construction of bridges and underpasses ensuring adherence to design specifications safety standards and project timelinesReview and approve contractors shop drawings proposed materials and construction methodsConduct regular field inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with quality standardsPrepare and review technical reports including daily diaries inspection reports and meeting minutesCoordinate with contractors surveyors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project schedulesOversee the work of inspectors and provide guidance on the supervision of contractors operationsReview and analyze asbuilt drawings in collaboration with inspectors and surveyorsMonitor project conformance with contractors schedules and propose solutions for any deviationsCollaborate with the senior engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challengesEnsure all projects comply with local building codes regulations and RTA standardsQualifications : Bachelors Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 15 years of demonstrable experience in supervising the construction of roads highways bridges and underpassesPrevious experience working in Dubai with familiarity of local construction practices and regulationsIndepth knowledge of bridge and underpass construction techniques and best practicesStrong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering toolsExcellent analytical and problemsolving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsFamiliarity with RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) standards and approval processes (preferred)Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAEDemonstrated ability to innovate and implement creative solutions in complex engineering projectsStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
