The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil engineering and earthworks projects in the region.Conduct thorough inspections of earthworks, site preparation, and civil engineering projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local regulationsPerform quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and construction methodsMonitor and document construction progress, identifying any deviations from approved plans or potential issuesLiaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve construction‑related concernsPrepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, test results, and recommendationsVerify that all work meets health and safety standards and environmental requirementsAttend site meetings and provide technical input on construction mattersReview and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentsEnsure adherence to local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering or construction inspection, with a focus on earthworks and site preparation projectsProfound knowledge of civil engineering principles, earthworks, and construction techniquesStrong understanding of quality control and assurance procedures in the construction industryAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precisionExcellent report writing skills and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office)Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaIn‑depth knowledge of health and safety standards in constructionProfessional certification in construction inspection (e.g., NICET, RICS) is preferredStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently and remain organised in a fast‑paced environmentWillingness to work on‑site in various weather conditions#J-18808-Ljbffr
