Child Developmental Pediatrician

DescriptionThe Developmental Pediatrician will play a central role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children aged 2–18 with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental needs. This includes children with suspected or confirmed autism, ADHD, developmental delays, social communication challenges, sensory concerns, emotional regulation issues, learning difficulties, and related pediatric developmental conditions. The role requires a clinician who can combine diagnostic rigor with practical family guidance and who can work effectively alongside therapists, psychologists, and other pediatric specialists in a coordinated child-development model.Role & ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive developmental assessments and screeningsDiagnose and manage developmental and behavioral conditionsDevelop individualized care and intervention plansCollaborate with therapists, psychologists, and educators to ensure integrated careProvide guidance and counseling to families on child development and management strategiesMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulationsStay updated on best practices and advancements in developmental pediatricsSkills & CompetenciesStrong expertise in child growth, development, and neurodevelopmental disordersAbility to assess, diagnose, and manage developmental and behavioral conditionsExperience with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and developmental delaysStrong clinical observation and assessment skillsExcellent communication skills with children and familiesAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamEducation & QualificationsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in PediatricsSubspecialty training or certification in Developmental PediatricsValid DHA license or eligibility to practice in DubaiMinimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
