Chief Accountant

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a track record of managing teams, audits, and compliance in line with IFRS/GAAP standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and general ledgerLead month‑end and year‑end closings with timely reconciliations and reportingEnsure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policiesOversee internal and external audits, preparing schedules and addressing findingsMonitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resourcesSupport preparation of financial statements and management reports (MIS)Guide, mentor, and develop accounting staff for high performanceReview and approve inventory‑related entries, cost adjustments, and stock provisionsProvide financial analysis to support decision‑making and strategic initiativesSkillsStrong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), taxation, and audit processesProficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced MS ExcelExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detailStrong leadership, communication, and team development capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlinesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory roleProven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and auditsOpen to male and female candidates currently based in the UAEMust be available to join immediatelyJob ID: 26082501-114VG#J-18808-Ljbffr
