Chief Accountant - Real Estate

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our real estate business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, real estate financial management, and ERP systems, with the ability to provide timely and accurate financial information to management while safeguarding company assets.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily, accurate financial accounts with no backlog.Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports to management.Safeguard all company assets and ensure proper insurance coverage.Prepare and present monthly financial statements by the 7th of each month.Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with statutory requirements.Handle all commercial, legal, and regulatory financial obligations.Ensure timely payment to suppliers, vendors, and contractors.Monitor tenant collections, provide weekly receivables statements with aging analysis, and take timely action on bounced cheques.Coordinate with legal teams to ensure recovery of overdue receivables.RequirementsMinimum 8 years of experience in finance / accounting, preferably in real estate.Strong knowledge of real estate financial operations.Native Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills.Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
