Senior Accountant – Foodstuff Trading CompanyLocation: DubaiEmployment Type: Full-timeJob OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Foodstuff Trading Company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support management with accurate financial reporting. Experience in trading or FMCG industries is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger)Prepare monthly and annual financial statementsHandle inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and COGSPrepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure VAT compliancePerform bank and account reconciliationsSupport internal and external auditsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementEnsure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policiesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4–6 years of relevant accounting experienceUAE experience is mandatoryStrong knowledge of UAE VAT lawsExperience with accounting/ERP systems (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)Strong MS Excel and reporting skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience in Foodstuff Trading / FMCG sectorKnowledge of inventory-heavy operationsProfessional certification (CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA) is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary packageStable and professional work environmentGrowth opportunities within the company#J-18808-Ljbffr
