Chief Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to oversee all financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial controls while supporting strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Ensure compliance with ZATCA, VAT, and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.Lead the preparation of financial reports for management to support business decisions.Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance.Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.Experience & SkillsMinimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi financial regulations.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
