OverviewChemical Engineer - Firefighting ABC POWDEROutstanding possibility to work with a leading manufacturing business based in UAE.ResponsibilitiesDevelop firefighting foam concentrate—Synthetic (fluorine-free), fluorinated foam and protein-based foam concentrate.Conduct lab tests to identify the structure of items according to national, global and ISO quality requirements.Prepare MSDS and the technical datasheet for foam concentrates.Identify new approaches to producing chemicals and develop the production process.Determine pH, viscosity, sediment, expansion ratio, and drainage time of foam concentrates.Ensure compliance with testing requirements (UL 162, UL 139, EN 1568, ICAO foam concentrate screening) and ISO 17025.Assess compatibility of foam concentrates.Attend client meetings and communicate effectively; demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to present ideas clearly.Qualifications2 to 4 years of experience in developing firefighting foam concentrates (synthetic/fluorinated and protein-based).Excellent understanding of raw materials and sources; fundamentals of chemical design including surface tension, film formation, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and mixing phenomena.Ability to identify new production approaches and develop corresponding processes.Experience preparing MSDS and technical data sheets for foam concentrates.Ability to perform lab tests and assess items against national, global and ISO quality standards.Experience determining pH, viscosity, sediment, expansion ratio, and drainage time of foam concentrates.Strong knowledge of UL 162, UL 139, EN 1568, ICAO foam concentrate screening and ISO 17025; solid expertise on compatibility of foam concentrates.Excellent communication skills; capable of attending client conferences; strong written and oral presentation abilities.Job TypeFull-timeSalaryAED 5,000.00 – AED 8,000.00 per month#J-18808-Ljbffr
