The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and enjoy creating delicious dishes using fresh, quality ingredients. You will be responsible for producing high-quality meals for guests and customers in a professional setting.The successful candidate should have strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while being able to adapt quickly to changing menus and requests from customers.ResponsibilitiesPrepare meals according to recipes and instructionsEnsure the kitchen is clean and organised at all timesEnsure food safety regulations are followedMonitor food stock levels and order supplies when neededMaintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen areaWork with other chefs to create new recipes and menusRequirementsCertificate or diploma in culinary arts or related field is desirable but not mandatoryMinimum of 1 year experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably as a chefExcellent knowledge of sanitation, safety procedures and food storage standardsAbility to work long hours on your feet with frequent bending and lifting up to 25 poundsWe offer an attractive salary package of 1700 per month plus excellent benefits.
