Job DescriptionTo prepare and deliver high-quality continental cuisine, ensuring consistency, presentation, and taste standards in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes in line with company standards and recipes.Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.Manage and oversee the assigned kitchen section efficiently.Assist in menu planning with a focus on diverse continental offerings.Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in line with HACCP.Monitor portion control, reduce wastage, and support cost control initiatives.Train and guide junior kitchen staff in continental cooking techniques.Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth and timely service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.Job RequirementsProven experience as a Chef de Partie – Continental Cuisine.Background in a reputable restaurant or hotel with strong continental exposure and broad menu experience.Experience in well-known hotels with strong all-day dining or international restaurant operations is an advantage.Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.Experience in high-volume catering or hospitality operations.Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong teamwork and communication skills.QualificationsDiploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.Food Safety Certification (HACCP or equivalent) is an advantage.Key CompetenciesExpertise in Continental Cuisine.Attention to Detail.Quality Control.Time Management.Teamwork.Consistency and Presentation Skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
