We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Sharjah United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for ensuring highquality food preparation and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.ResponsibilitiesTo manage your Kitchen section with regard to food preparation and service according to set standards customer satisfaction and high level of sales in line with company policies and regulationsResponsible for guiding the Commis in the performance of their jobs in accordance to Hotel policies and proceduresTrain and supervise junior kitchen staff providing guidance and supportPrepare highquality dishes according to restaurant standards and recipesEnsure proper food handling storage and hygiene practices are followed at all timesCollaborate with other chefs to create innovative menu items and specialsMonitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your sectionResponsible for ensuring daily storeroom requisitions and sufficient supplies during Kitchen operation are rotated and used in a FIFO systemAssist in menu planning and food cost controlEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulationsParticipate in regular kitchen meetings and training sessionsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAssist the Sous Chef as neededQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary roleVocational degree in Culinary Arts or related fieldFluency in English both verbal and writtenStrong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniquesExcellent leadership and team management skillsProficiency in food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP principlesAbility to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidaysProactive approach to problemsolving and continuous improvementPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessaryRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
