Job Description As a Chatbot Conversational AI Engineer in the Application Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in software development, collaborating with chatbot experts, developers, engineers, and internal clients. You will need a strong technical foundation, strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a subject matter expert on the chatbot platform - Developing integrations in Python and Groovy to enable virtual agents to interact with various systems - Participating in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle - Creating Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions and promoting their adoption - Understanding, refining, and translating customer requirements into functional software - Creating and improving utilities supporting the chatbot platform - Leading design and code reviews - Collaborating with a global team of engineers, SREs, and conversational AI experts - Identifying automation opportunities and implementing solutions - Training and enhancing intent detection models - Continuously enhancing production virtual agents - Demonstrating the value of Artificial Intelligence solutions and automation - Supporting POCs and product demonstrations Primary Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of software design and best practices - Deep experience with Python coding and development - Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and other software development frameworks and libraries - Experience in building AI applications, especially Generative AI and LLM based apps - Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks - Knowledge of CCD practices, GitHub, and Jenkins - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Agile development practices expertise like Scrum - Linux proficiency - Understanding of NLP and Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning concepts Desirable Skills: - Experience in designing and interfacing with Virtual Agents using platforms like Amelia, Kore Microsoft Copilot Studio - Development, management, and deployment of Kubernetes workloads, preferably on OpenShift - Understanding of Auth 2.0 protocol for secure authorization - Sourcing and labeling training data for ML models - Proficiency in SRE techniques - Understanding of Model Ops, ML Ops, LLM (Note: Any additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.)
