Chargehand – Painting - Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Chargehand – Painting to supervise and coordinate painting and blasting activities at site for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate will assist the Site Superintendent in managing manpower, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily painting and surface preparation activitiesGuide painters and blasting crew at siteEnsure work execution as per project specificationsAllocate manpower and monitor productivityEnsure proper mixing and application of coating materialsMaintain discipline and safety compliance among workersCoordinate with QC inspectors for inspectionsReport daily progress to Site SuperintendentEnsure tools and equipment are properly maintainedQualification: AnyExperience: 15–20 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector preferred)Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating systemsExperience supervising painting crewsFamiliar with industrial painting standards and safety proceduresAbility to read basic drawings and specificationsStrong leadership and communication skillsSalary & BenefitsSalary: QAR 1,600 – 1,700 + 300Benefits: Accommodation & Transportation provided by Company#J-18808-Ljbffr
