Channel Sales Manager – Sports NutritionRole PurposeThe Sales Manager – Sports Nutrition is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing key accounts across the sports nutrition portfolio (e.g., protein powders, supplements, functional foods, hydration products). The role focuses on developing sales strategies, leading the sales team, and building strong relationships with retailers, pharmacies, and specialty storesKey ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, value, and market share targets in the sports nutrition categoryIdentify new business opportunities in gyms, fitness centers, pharmacies, specialty nutrition stores, and online platformsManage pricing, promotions, and trade offers in alignment with brand and margin objectivesMonitor sales performance and take corrective actions to close gapsKey Account ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partnersLead negotiations, contracts, listings, and annual business plans with major customersEnsure optimal product availability, shelf visibility, and execution of in-store activationsTeam LeadershipLead, coach, and motivate the sales managers and sales team to deliver high performanceSet clear targets, KPIs, and territory plans for sales teamConduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and capability development sessionsMarket & Category ManagementTrack market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior in sports nutritionProvide insights on new product launches, pack sizes, and innovation opportunitiesCollaborate with marketing and product teams on campaigns, sampling, and athlete/fitness influencer initiativesForecasting & ReportingPrepare sales forecasts, budgets, and demand plansAnalyze sales data, ROI on promotions, and customer performanceProvide regular sales reports and strategic recommendations to managementKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales revenue and volume growthTeam Management, coaching, performance, and target achievementIndividual Brand`s targets and KPIsMarket share within sports nutrition categoryDistribution expansion and numeric/weighted coverageTrade spends efficiency and profitabilityQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field2-3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in sports nutrition, FMCG, pharma, or health & wellnessProven experience managing key accounts and leading sales teamsStrong understanding of fitness, supplementation, and active lifestyle consumersTalent & Experience must be in KSA marketSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and relationship management skillsData‑driven mindset with solid analytical skillsLeadership and coaching capabilityExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh energy, results‑oriented, and passion for health & fitnessPreferredExperience with retail chains, and pharmaciesKnowledge of local regulatory requirements for nutritional supplementsPersonal interest or background in fitness or sports nutrition#J-18808-Ljbffr
