Job Description Role Overview: You will be working as a Senior Certified Coding Associate in the ITES/BPO industry, specifically in Medical Coding at RMZ Perungudi, Chennai. Your primary responsibility will involve Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding with a focus on creating update trackers, providing feedback, conducting audits, and contributing to the development of educational opportunities for staff. Key Responsibilities: - Create and update trackers, keeping the team informed about trends and changes. - Provide feedback and coaching on common error scenarios. - Review claims denied/rejected for coding, documentation, and clinical validation. - Prepare reports for management review and identify trends. - Conduct focused retrospective audits and regular scheduled audits of individual coders. - Contribute to the development of educational and training opportunities for staff in collaboration with Coding Supervisors and Coding Manager. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Evaluation & Management (OP / IP) coding. - Strong knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS and CPT coding. - Anesthesia coding & Surgery Coding skills are an added advantage. - Minimum 2 years of experience in E&M Coding. - Certified Medical Coders with any certification are preferred.
