Certification Body Manager - MS - Abu Dhabi

<div><p>TÜV SÜD is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification.</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>The Certification Body Manager is responsible for the overall management, integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of certification activities in accordance with accreditation requirements, international standards, and regulatory obligations.</p><h3>Your Task</h3><ul><li>Accreditation Management: maintain continuous compliance with accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17021‑1, ISO 17065, ISO 17024 as applicable), act as the primary point of contact with accreditation bodies (EIAC, ENAS, SAC, DAkkS, NABCB, etc.), prepare and manage applications and renewals, coordinate assessments, address non‑conformities, monitor changes in accreditation rules, etc.</li><li>Certification Process Management: oversee end‑to‑end certification cycle (application review, contract review, audit planning, Stage 1&2 audits, surveillance and recertification audits, special audits), ensure audits follow procedures, validate decisions, manage timely issuance and renewals.</li><li>Surveillance&Recertification Audit Management: plan and execute surveillance audits, monitor audit intervals, review plans and decisions, ensure customer compliance.</li><li>Auditor&Technical Expert Management: define auditor qualification criteria, authorize and review competence, conduct performance evaluations, manage authorisation and withdrawals.</li><li>Audit Report&Certification Decision Review: review audit reports for adequacy and compliance, ensure proper closure of non‑conformities, maintain certification decision records.</li><li>Quality Management System Oversight: maintain and improve the QMS in line with ISO/IEC standards, control procedures and templates, conduct internal audits, track KPIs, manage complaints and disputes.</li><li>Regulatory&Compliance Audits: lead preparation and coordination for audits by accreditation bodies and regulatory authorities, respond to findings and maintain readiness for unannounced audits.</li><li>Impartiality&Confidentiality: manage impartiality risk assessments, remove conflicts of interest.</li><li>Customer&Stakeholder Management: act as escalation point for key clients, support business development, liaise with scheme owners and regulators.</li><li>Reporting&Documentation: maintain accurate records of audits, decisions, and actions; prepare management reports on performance and compliance.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant technical discipline (Master’s preferred).</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>8–12 years in the TIC / Certification industry, including auditing.</li><li>3–5 years in a managerial or decision‑making role within a Certification Body.</li><li>Strong experience with accreditation bodies such as DAkkS, NABCB, IAS, UKAS or equivalents.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li>In‑depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021‑1 and IAF Mandatory Documents.</li><li>Strong understanding of management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).</li><li>Excellent audit process knowledge and decision‑making capability.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>High integrity and ability to manage impartiality and compliance risks.</li></ul><p>Work Area: Manufacturing, Consumer Products&Food</p><p>Country/Region: United Arab Emirates</p><p>Job Location: Abu Dhabi</p><p>Working Model: Onsite</p><p>Employment Type: Full time / regular</p><p>Company: TÜV SÜD Middle East LLC</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
