Carpenter vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAEJob Title: CarpenterLocation: Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAESalary: 1700 AED/monthWe are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience in woodworking and knowledge of tools and techniques. We are also open to considering foreign applicants.Responsibilities:• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge.• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws or other fasteners using hand tools and power tools.• Install items such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinetry, trim or hardware using hand or power tools.• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors & door frames using raw materials or pre-constructed items.• Install fixtures such as windows & door frames into framework.• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance work where necessary.Requirements:• Proven work experience as a carpenter with at least 2 years of experience in the field• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation & construction• Ability to read technical documents & drawings• Experience in operating machinery & tools (e.g., saws)• Excellent physical condition and strength with the ability to work long hours standing up • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervisionIf you are interested in this position please send your CV along with a cover letter to (insert contact information).
