Under one roof, ENATA’s expert teams collaborate to deliver industry-leading results in all sectors.</p><h3>Role Description</h3><p>This is a full-time, on-site position for a Carpenter - Marine, located in Sharjah. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing wooden structures and frameworks for marine craft and other industries. Daily responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, performing finish carpentry work, reading design plans, and ensuring all projects meet quality and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with the production team to deliver high-quality marine products within specified timelines.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><h3>Carpentry&Fabrication Works</h3><p>- Construct, assemble, and install wooden and composite components such as:</p><ul><li>Decking systems (teak, synthetic teak)</li><li>Bulkheads, partitions, panels, Furniture, cabinetry, and joinery</li><li>Interior fittings and finishing elements</li></ul><p>Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.</p><p>Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with high precision.</p><h3>Installation&Fit-Out</h3><p>- Perform onboard installation of marine carpentry components.</p><p>- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of installed parts.</p><p>- Conduct fit-out works for:</p><ul><li>Cabins</li><li>interiors</li><li>Flooring systems</li><li>Wall panels and ceilings</li></ul><p>- Work closely with production and outfitting teams.</p><h3>Repair&Maintenance</h3><p>- Inspect and repair damaged wooden or composite structures.</p><p>- Replace worn or damaged components due to:</p><ul><li>Water exposure</li><li>Structural fatigue</li><li>Operational wear</li></ul><p>- Perform refit and refurbishment works on existing vessels.</p><h3>Material Handling</h3><p>- Work with various marine-grade materials:</p><ul><li>Hardwoods (teak, oak, mahogany)</li><li>Marine plywood</li><li>Laminates and veneers</li><li>Composite panels</li></ul><p>- Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage.</p><h3>Finishing Works</h3><p>- Apply finishes such as:</p><ul><li>Sanding</li><li>Varnishing</li><li>Polishing</li><li>Lamination and sealing</li></ul><p>- Ensure aesthetic and functional quality of final output.</p><h3>Quality&Compliance</h3><p>- Follow company quality standards and specifications.</p><p>- Ensure compliance with: ISO 9001 requirements, Marine classification standards.</p><p>- Conduct self-inspections and report defects.</p><h3>Health, Safety&Environment (HSE)</h3><p>- Follow all HSE procedures and use PPE at all times.</p><p>- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.</p><p>- Handle tools and materials safely.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
