Job OverviewCarpenter vacancy in Sharjah, UAE. Salary 1600 AED per month. We are open to consider an immigrant for this role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, such as wooden boards or beams.Construct frames for windows and doorways using a range of materials such as timber or metal.Fit windows, doors, skirting boards, architraves or staircases into the required structure.Cut and shape pieces of wood according to measurements or templates provided.Install fixtures such as handles, knobs or locks onto furniture pieces or structures.Finish structures or furniture by sanding them down with sandpaper or other tools.Repair existing structures or furniture that have been damaged by wear and tear over time.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required standards before they reach clients.Qualifications and RequirementsProven experience as a Carpenter with at least 2 years’ experience in carpentry work within the UAE is preferred but not essential.Must possess excellent technical skills in carpentry work including measuring, cutting, shaping etc.Good knowledge of various types of woods used for different purposes is essential.Ability to read technical drawings accurately.Working knowledge of safety rules and regulations related to carpentry work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
