This position offers a salary of 900 and is open to foreign applicants.Job OverviewThe Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures onsite or offsite. This includes the construction of furniture, stairs, cabinets, decks, windows, doors, etc., using a variety of hand tools and power tools. The Carpenter must also be able to read blueprints or diagrams to determine the size and shape of the structure being built.ResponsibilitiesMeasure materials accurately before cutting them to sizeConstruct wooden structures including walls, beams, doors, floors etc., using hand tools like saws and drillsInstall fixtures such as windows and door framesFinish wood surfaces by sanding them or applying lacquer or varnishRepair damaged furniture or other objects made from woodRead blueprints or diagrams to determine size and shape of structures being builtFollow safety guidelines when operating power tools or handling chemicals for finishing wood surfacesQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in carpentry fieldAbility to read blueprints/diagramsAbility to use hand tools like saws & drills safely & accuratelyGood physical condition & stamina#J-18808-Ljbffr
