CarpenterConstruct repair and install wooden fixtures furniture doors windows and cabinetry in guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wooden structures to ensure safety and aesthetic standards.Measure cut shape and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.Customize furniture and fittings to meet specific hotel design and functionality requirements.Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address repair requests promptly.Inspect wooden structures for damage rot or wear and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Maintain and organize carpentry tools and materials for efficient workflow.Assist in renovation or refurbishment projects by installing or restoring wooden elements.Coordinate with contractors or suppliers for specialized carpentry tasks when needed.Qualifications : Your experience and skills include:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferredProven experience in carpentry ideally within commercial or hospitality environmentsSkilled in measuring cutting shaping and assembling wood and other materialsProficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAbility to read and interpret blueprints sketches and technical drawingsKnowledge of building codes safety regulations and quality standards relevant to hospitality settingsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical ability to perform manual labor including lifting climbing and working in confined spacesGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and other hotel departmentsFlexibility to work various shifts and respond to urgent repair needsAdditional Information : Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract recruit and promote diverse talent.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
