The Caregiver must ensure that the patient's dignity is maintained at all times while providing quality care. The Caregiver must be able to assess the needs of the patient and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor or other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care. The Caregiver must be able to work independently but also follow directions from other healthcare professionals as needed.Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and assistance in activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting- Ensure that patient's dignity is maintained at all times while providing quality care- Assist patients with mobility in accordance with their plan of care- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning bathrooms, changing bed linens and tidying up living areas- Assist with laundry duties as needed- Ensure that medical appointments are kept on time by arranging transportation as neededQualifications & Requirements:- 3 years of experience working as a Caregiver or related role- Ability to assess the needs of the patient- Ability to work independently but also follow directions from other healthcare professionals- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal- Must be physically fit enough to assist patients with mobility- Must have a valid driver’s license (preferred)This job has no reviews yet.
