Car Driver - Staff

Job PurposeTo ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of school staff while maintaining high standards of vehicle safety, cleanliness, and compliance with UAE regulations and school policies.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate the assigned school light vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to UAE traffic laws and school policiesFollow designated routes and schedules for staff pick-up and drop‑off, ensuring punctuality at all timesEnsure passengers comply with safety rules and maintain appropriate behavior during transitAssist in maintaining order and discipline within the vehicleConduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance needsMaintain accurate records such as route logs, time sheets, and incident/accident reportsEnsure the vehicle is kept clean, presentable, and well‑maintained at all timesReport accidents, delays, or incidents promptly to the supervisorSupport the transport team in operational requirements, including special trips or school eventsComply with all GEMS policies, procedures, and code of conductAttend meetings and carry out additional duties as assigned by managementSkillsQualificationsValid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Category 3)Clean driving recordSecondary school education (preferred)Valid police clearance certificateExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience driving light vehicles in the UAEPrevious experience in a school or similar environment is an advantageSkills & CompetenciesGood knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulationsStrong sense of responsibility and safety awarenessPunctual, reliable, and disciplinedGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureFlexibility to work additional hours for school activities or event.#J-18808-Ljbffr
