CAD Technician

Legal Entity: AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED DUBAI BRANCHBusiness Line: TransportationWork Location Model: On-SiteOperating Group: InternationalPrimary Location: AE - Dubai, UAE - UBora Tower - SiteJob DescriptionPrepare accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings (plans, profiles, sections, details) as per project requirementsDevelop construction drawings based on IFC, tender, and authority-approved documentsUpdate and revise drawings as per site conditions, RFIs, and engineer/client commentsCoordinate with engineers, planners, and inspectors to incorporate design changesEnsure drawings comply with project specifications, authority standards, and CAD standardsMaintain drawing registers, version control, and proper file naming conventionsPrepare as-built drawings based on approved redlines and site recordsAssist in preparation of shop drawings, utility layouts, and coordination drawingsPerform basic quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings when requiredEnsure timely submission of drawings in line with project schedulesArchive and manage electronic and hardcopy drawings for easy retrievalSupport multidisciplinary coordination (civil, structural, MEP, utilities)Adhere to company QA/QC procedures and drafting best practicesQualificationsBachelor in civil engineering with minimum 6-10 years of experience in similar industry3 years Diploma with equivalency certificate mandatoryAdditional InformationMinimum 3-4 years of experience in UAE is mandatoryWorked in RTA or DM project will be an added advantageAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we believe in your potential and are here to help you achieve it.
