CAD Draughtsman (Infrastructure, Water Recycle)

Requisition Number24066BRDescriptionThe Draughtsman will be involved in working on projects associated with stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks and water distribution networks. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction monitoring.Key accountabilitiesDevelop and prepare drawings in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or associated programs based on direction and design provided by landscape architects.Prepare detailed drawings, in CAD, or associated programs, of proposed plans, facilities and infrastructures, prints of various original plans and records for internal and external company use.Produce drawings for land development projects, base plans and detailed drawings for landscape projects as required.Work as a team member to coordinate design projects with urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, and other CAD technicians.Utilize customized tools, utilities, and scripts to automate work processes and improve AutoCAD productivity and efficiency in compliance with the company CAD standards.Work experienced in latest version of Microstation, AutoCAD, Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Packages, and Internet Applications.Expertise in also have thoughtful knowledge of the existing infrastructure Networks in the Emirates of Dubai and be able to track existing Network from as-built records of various DS, IRR, DEWA.Collaboration and working as part of a team.Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations.Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate the completion of tasks and projects.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills…Client Service ManagementInternal and external client liaisonAbility to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships.Experience in utility diversions and management.Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.Design for safety, i.e. Construction Design Management.Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident EngineerQualificationsThe successful candidate must have relevant technical qualifications and having Ten (10) years of experience in drafting related to infrastructure works.He must be well experienced in latest version of Auto Cad, MS Office, MicroStation.DS, IRR, DEWA, Water recycle experience is an advantage.Work Location(s)United Arab Emirates-DubaiEmployment TypeFull-TimeJob TypeRegularJob CategoryEngineering Other#J-18808-Ljbffr
