Buyer PlannerOverview:The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials to ensure that inventory levels meet production and operational needs. This role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth supply chain, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely availability of materials for manufacturing or business operationsKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute purchasing plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedulesProcure goods and materials locally and internationally, ensuring best pricing, quality, and delivery termsGenerate and process purchase orders using the company’s procurement system; track and monitor order status to ensure timely deliveryCoordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to align material supply with operational requirementsMaintain accurate records of purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier informationAnalyze supplier performance and market trends; negotiate contracts and establish payment terms with vendorsAudit and evaluate vendor agreements; ensure compliance with company policies and local regulationsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and inventory managementPrepare and present regular reports on purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance to managementSupport customs clearance and logistics processes for imported goods as neededQualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain planning role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)Knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and supplier relationship managementFamiliarity with Saudi customs clearance, VAT laws, and import/export procedures is highly desirableExcellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; fluency in English requiredSaudi nationality required (per Saudization policies).We Offer:Opportunity to work for the global leader of above ground fuel storage industry and develop your career furtherOngoing industry training and certifications i.e. health and safety etc.Competitive remuneration and benefits as per local lawHigh-end equipmentAre you excited about joining a highly diverse international team and the prospect of contributing to an industry-leader in emissions-mitigation equipment for aboveground storage tanks?
