Business Systems Analyst, Data Analytics

Job Description As an experienced professional in architecting and implementing full-scale master data management and data warehouse systems, you will play a crucial role in the Business Systems Integration team at Google. Your responsibilities will involve translating business problems into analytical solutions, providing technical mentorship, collaborating with product and engineering teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders. **Responsibilities:** - Translate business problems into analytical solutions and insights for your supported organization or functional area. - Provide technical mentorship in delivering project work, including implementing data science solutions, improving data pipelines, developing evaluation metrics, or building statistical models. - Work closely with product and engineering teams to analyze impact on product or Google-wide metrics. - Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end-user experience. - Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecting and implementing full-scale master data management and data warehouse systems. - Experience with web-scale databases, Columnar/NoSQL technology, API frameworks, and SQL. - Experience with SQL Pipelines, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization. - Experience managing projects and creating Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience working with advanced analytics solutions, including machine learning and statistical analytics. - Experience with third-party Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications within Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, etc. - Understanding of data management practices such as Data Integration, Data Security, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
