Business Support and Financial Control Analyst (3 Months Contract)

Role OverviewThe Business Support & Financial Control Analyst will provide critical financial oversight and business support to ensure effective cost management, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal controls. This role will support operational and finance teams by delivering timely analysis, improving financial processes, and assisting in decision-making during a high-demand period.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & ReportingSupport month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysisEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies and IFRS standardsMonitor budgets, track expenditures, and highlight variances with actionable insightsAssist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentationsBusiness SupportPartner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and cost optimization strategiesAnalyze financial performance trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiencySupport forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned departmentsAssist stakeholders in understanding financial implications of business decisionsCompliance & ControlsEnsure adherence to internal controls, policies, and audit requirementsSupport internal and external audit processes by providing required documentationIdentify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controlsData Analysis & Process ImprovementUtilize financial systems and tools to extract and analyze dataImprove reporting processes through automation and standardization where possibleContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance and business support functionsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field4–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business support rolesStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysisExperience working with ERP systemsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProactive, adaptable, and able to work independentlyContract DetailsDuration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on business needs)Immediate or short-notice availability preferredMust be locally available in Qatar with a valid QIDMust be under family sponsorship or freelance visa able to provide secondment paper.#J-18808-Ljbffr
