We are currently partnering with a well-established commodities trading business in Dubai that is looking to hire a Business Development Manager as part of its commercial growth plans. This search is focused on identifying a commercially credible professional with sector-relevant experience, established regional exposure, and a proven ability to build business within the commodities trading market.Your RoleThis role will take ownership of business development activity across the Dubai market, with a particular focus on expanding commercial reach across key export corridors. The successful individual will be expected to identify new client opportunities, strengthen strategic relationships, and contribute to revenue growth through a disciplined and market-informed approach.This is a role for someone who understands the commercial realities of the market, can open relevant doors, and is comfortable operating across regional trade corridors with a clear focus on revenue generation and relationship development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development activity across the commodities trading sectorOriginate and develop new client relationships within the Dubai marketBuild and manage strategic partnerships that support commercial growthSupport export-led business development across MENA and Africa marketsIdentify new market opportunities, client segments, and regional trade channelsMaintain close visibility on market activity, customer demand, and commercial prioritiesContribute to revenue growth through structured relationship development and opportunity conversionMust HaveEnglish and Arabic speakerProven experience operating within the Dubai marketPrior commodities trading experience is mustMinimum of 5 years’ experience across business development, exports, or tradingDemonstrated track record in winning new business and managing strategic partnershipsStrong analytical thinking with a structured, problem-solving mindset.Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.Next Steps• Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5–7 working days for a detailed discussion about the role.
