Job SummaryThe primary purpose of the job is to develop and grow the Liquid and Combustion (L&C) product line business within the Analytical & Detection Portfolio of Measurement Solutions (MSOL) of Emerson. This position is intended to drive technology adoption/acceptance of this business in Middle East and Africa by taking ownership of the product group!In this role your responsibilities will be:Product ManagementLead product management business development sales support and project pursuit across MEA to achieve L&C sales targetsEnhance customer satisfaction by identifying and implementing solutions aligned with MSOL and L&C needsDrive product and factory approvals at key accountsStay current on product industry and market trends; maintain sales tools and implement A&D marketing activitiesDeliver financial and marketing forecasts pricing insights competitor analysis and country marketing plans in collaboration with regional salesStrengthen sales and support teams knowledge of L&C products applications and industry dynamicsBusiness DevelopmentOwn and implement key initiatives in the L&C Strategic PlanDrive quality lead generation and provide leadership in sales campaignsSupport regional teams in engaging customers Emerson partners and LBPs to prioritize efforts capture intelligence and improve service in line with L&C strategies and Key Account PlansCollaborate with MSOL and other Emerson Platforms to improve content pull-through and identify growth opportunitiesLead small engineered solutions initiativesDevelop and implement strategies for non-O&G markets such as Power & Water Pharma and ChemicalsSalesProvide accurate forecasts (orders and units) to support financial and manufacturing planningAssist regional and digital sales teams and partners across MEALead key pursuits from demand creation to deal closure at strategic accountsSupport high-quality proposal processes to meet service and success rate expectationsContribute to project sales strategies maintain pursuit tracking and provide regular reports and forecastsMentor sales teams on product features industry trends and customer interactionDeliver technical support during pre-sales clarifications and re-engineering phases to meet project requirementsEnsure compliance with Emersons trade procedures across all business activitiesWho you areTo lead the L&C Business of Emerson in Middle East and AfricaTravel up to 50% of the time within MEA occasionally outside of MEADrive collaboration and engagement should develop management by influencing skillsYou see technology and innovation as key in pursuing with worlds most significant challengesYou are continuously looking forward to developing and improving your professional skillsFor this job you will needAn Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5-7 years experience in the process automation industry specifically in: Liquid and gas analytical and detection products Engaging with end users influencers OEMs System Integrators and EPCsPreferred Qualifications that set you apartProven expertise and experience in industries and processes such as Power & Water Refining Oil & Gas Combustion or Water TreatmentA strong internal drive and passion for growing the businessDemonstrated track record of business growth across the MEA regionOur Culture & Commitment to You!At Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respectful and empowered to grow.
