Through our two business segments, Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) and Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS), we design, manufacture, and bring to market products and services that make a valuable difference in people’s lives.To strengthen our MEA Sales team, we are looking for a full-time:Business Development Manager GCC (m/w/d)ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Development Manager GCC, you are responsible for developing and executing local vertical market strategies to acquire and develop end-user and consultant relationships in alignment with corporate/regional strategy. You are also responsible for the support and development of long term partners/system integrator relationships in a defined region. Creating brand awareness within the vertical market, in part, by coordinating and participating in industry related events and the responsibility for acquiring projects and developing a project pipeline that is coordinated and tracked through the sales channel are also part of your duties.Your tasksMaintain and develop the company CRM database.Plan and carry out direct consultative sales activities to a defined group of industry contacts and influencers within agreed timescales and outcomes.Deliver agreed results including product mix and market focus within budget.Develop strategy and comprehensive business plan for direct marketing to agreed organizations by specific market sector and Q-SYS products.Respond to and follow up enquiries within a defined period by email, telephone, and personal visits.Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.In conjunction with the product development teams participate in market research, competitor and customer surveys.Manage any relevant external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and research.Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes.Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.Maintain and develop existing and new organizations through planned individual account support, and liaison with external direct sales team as well as internal customer team.Attend industry training and develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance performance.QualificationsYour profileEducation to degree level or qualification in industry relevant field is preferred. A Bachelor's degree is a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong working relationships quicklyWell organised to manage conflicting prioritiesNatural intellect with a high level of emotional intelligenceHighly motivated and results oriented - driven to succeedExcellent engaging presentation skillsConfident with excellent influencing skillsProfessionally presentedExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)Fluent in Arabic is mandatory (verbal)Complete understanding of audio, video and networking is essentialMust have proven consultative sales experienceStrong experience in proposing audio visual or IT infrastructure services is keyProven track record and achieving targets over a period of yearsCommercially perceptive with the ability to understand a complex system propositionProven track record of strong quota achievementWe offerA varied task in an internationally very successful companyChallenging main tasksThe opportunity to actively shape a global companyAn attractive salary packageHave we aroused your interest?
