You’ll work with exchanges, DeFi protocols, fintech apps, data aggregators, and institutional clients to help them leverage CMC’s market-leading crypto data through our API solutions.What You’ll DoOwn the full sales cycle for CMC’s API products — from prospecting and demo to close and expansionIdentify and engage new API customers across exchanges, DeFi protocols, fintech platforms, data aggregators, and institutional/TradFi firmsBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified API opportunities, tracking progress and forecasting revenueUnderstand client data needs and propose the right API tier, endpoints, and integration approachServe as the primary point of contact between API clients and internal teams (product, engineering, support) for onboarding and issue resolutionExpand revenue from existing API clients by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesStay current on competitor API offerings, pricing, and market trends to sharpen CMC’s positioningCollaborate with Product to relay client feedback and influence the API roadmapWhat You Bring3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally selling API/data/SaaS productsStrong network within the crypto industry — exchanges, DeFi, fintech, or institutional cryptoSolid understanding of APIs, data products, and how technical buyers evaluate themProven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targetsFluency in English (native level); additional languages are a bonusExcellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levelsStrong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first environmentBS/BA in business, marketing, computer science, or a related fieldNice to HaveExperience selling crypto market data or financial data APIs specificallyFamiliarity with REST/WebSocket APIs and developer documentationExisting relationships with exchanges, trading desks, or institutional crypto firmsExperience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
