<div><p>Job ID: 3199658 | Amazon Digital Services Private Limited - M86</p><p>We are seeking a strategic Principal Business Development Leader to drive customer acquisition and account growth for our Finance as a Service (FaaS) offerings. This role requires a customer‑obsessed leader who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver measurable business impact. The Principal Business Development Manager serves as a trusted business advisor who influences senior leadership to make effective strategic and negotiation decisions.</p><h3>Key job responsibilities</h3><h3>Customer Acquisition</h3><ul><li>Drive new customer acquisition by identifying and engaging prospective sellers and vendors who would benefit from FaaS offerings.</li><li>Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to onboard additional customers, working backwards from their pain points to position our services effectively.</li><li>Build compelling value propositions that address specific challenges faced by the customers.</li><li>Lead preliminary discussions and gauge partner interest.</li></ul><h3>Strategic Leadership</h3><ul><li>Define and lead business strategy development and idea generation for the organization.</li><li>Influence whether and how to enter new segments, businesses, or geographies.</li><li>Drive development and implementation of team or organization longer‑term goals.</li><li>Lead company outreach efforts and significantly complex external engagements.</li></ul><h3>Deal Structuring&Negotiation</h3><ul><li>Serve as subject matter expert on deal structuring for business teams.</li><li>Effectively synthesize significantly complex partnership, negotiation, and strategy considerations into clear narratives for senior leaders (L10+).</li><li>Write strategic documents with minimal oversight.</li></ul><h3>Strategic Planning&Execution</h3><ul><li>Influence business unit roadmaps and strategy through partnership strategy, negotiation tactics, and industry knowledge.</li><li>Develop business cases and commercial models.</li><li>Organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with own and other teams to accomplish goals and monitor progress.</li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.</li><li>7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.</li><li>Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale.</li><li>Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high‑level architecture solutions to build on.</li></ul><p>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
