<div><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>Join AVAR as a Business Development Engineer – KSA. As part of our team in the Riyadh Office, you'll work in an on‑site environment, serving as the key technical sales link between our company and clients across the Kingdom. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, business development, and customer‑relationship management to drive growth and deliver innovative solutions in the data center and critical infrastructure sector.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead Generation&Prospecting: Actively identify and engage with data center operators, facility managers, and MEP consultants across the Kingdom.</li><li>Technical Solution Design: Translate client requirements into detailed technical service proposals, focusing on post‑construction maintenance, cooling, and power systems.</li><li>Site Surveys&Audits: Conduct on‑site technical assessments of data center infrastructure to identify gaps and upsell AVAR's specialized service projects.</li><li>Tender Management: Lead the technical side of the bidding process, ensuring all RFP requirements are met with high‑quality, competitive solutions.</li><li>Pipeline Management: Maintain a rigorous sales funnel, providing regular updates on lead status, technical hurdles, and estimated closing timelines.</li></ul><h3>Must Have Requirements</h3><ul><li>5–8 years of experience in Business Development or Sales Engineering within the Data Center, MEP, or Critical Infrastructure sectors in KSA.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Uptime Institute standards, TIA‑942, and KSA‑specific technical regulations (SBC).</li><li>Established network of facility managers, procurement officers, and technical consultants within the Saudi market.</li><li>Exceptional presentation skills, a results‑first mindset, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.</li><li>Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.</li></ul><h3>Nice To Have Requirements</h3><ul><li>Experience working directly with hyperscale data centers or mission critical projects.</li><li>Certifications related to data center design, such as CDCP, CDCS, or similar.</li><li>Proven track record in introducing digital transformation or AI‑driven solutions to technical clients.</li><li>Experience collaborating with global technical vendors or OEMs.</li><li>Working knowledge of advanced cooling or power redundancy strategies.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
