Job Description As an Assistant Manager - Business Development at MCX in Kolkata, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Creating and leveraging strong broker relationships to promote exchange products and services. - Conducting seminars and events with brokers and investor associations to promote exchange traded products and onboard new clients. - Developing strategic plans for business growth, monitoring activities, and ensuring targets are achieved. - Providing support to brokers for timely query resolution by coordinating with internal departments. - Gathering customer intelligence and feedback to drive business growth. - Collaborating with other teams to address customer needs. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers within broker firms to encourage adoption of exchange products. - Generating business MIS reports and conducting regular business analytics. - Demonstrating knowledge and experience in the commodity derivatives market. - Possessing strong client engagement, presentation, and influential skills. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for spreadsheet analysis, and PowerPoint. - Showing self-initiative, creativity in learning, and readiness to take on new responsibilities. - Being a team player with a positive attitude and ability to manage tight deadlines. - Willingness to travel for business needs. Qualification Profile: - Post Graduate in any specialization from a recognized University, preferably in Finance or Sales and Marketing. - Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
