By providing tailored hubs to suit its clients needs, Octopus gives companies all the advantages of remote work and offshoring without all the negatives.Role OverviewThe Manager – Business Architect is responsible for designing and orchestrating the end-to-end business architecture of customer journeys, ensuring that front-stage customer interactions are seamlessly supported by backstage processes, systems, governance, and data capabilities.The role works closely with business, operations, technology, design, and control functions to ensure that solutions are feasible, compliant, scalable, and strategically aligned. It also ensures traceability and consistency across all journey layers throughout the lifecycle, enabling effective transformation and operational excellence.Responsibilities1. Business Architecture & Journey DesignLead the end-to-end design of customer journeys across all enabling layers including processes, operations, technology, data, and risk & compliance.Translate strategic business objectives into integrated service blueprints, business architecture models, and capability maps.Ensure alignment between customer experience design and underlying operational capabilities.2. Solution Alignment & OrchestrationCollaborate with solution architects, service designers, operations teams, and engineering teams to ensure target-state solutions are cohesive and aligned with the defined journey architecture.Ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.Maintain traceability between business requirements, architecture components, and delivery solutions.3. Stakeholder & Governance AlignmentAct as the integration point between business, design, technology, operations, and control functions.Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on target-state journey designs.Manage dependencies, trade-offs, and expectations across multiple stakeholders.Support governance forums with architecture insights, decision support, and impact assessments.4. Operational & Capability OptimizationDrive structured journey mapping and service blueprinting to identify:Capability gapsProcess inefficienciesControl weaknessesAutomation opportunitiesRecommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and scalability.5. Risk, Compliance & Control by DesignEmbed risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations into the business architecture from the outset.Ensure solutions adhere to data governance standards and internal control frameworks.Work closely with risk, compliance, and governance teams to ensure journeys are compliant by design.QualificationsExperience in business architecture, service design, or enterprise transformation roles.Strong understanding of process architecture, operating models, and digital transformation initiatives.Experience working across business, technology, and operations environments.Exposure to regulated environments with strong governance and compliance requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
