Job Description

We’re supporting a leading organisation on a large-scale transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Business Architect to play a key role in shaping end-to-end customer journeys, operating models, and enterprise capabilities.This is a high-impact contract role, working closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and operations to drive strategic change and ensure alignment across all layers of the organisation.ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end design of customer journeys across front, middle, and back-office functionsDefine and evolve target operating models (TOM) aligned to business strategyDevelop and maintain business capability frameworks and mappingsTranslate strategic objectives into actionable transformation initiativesEnsure alignment across processes, systems, data, governance, and operationsFacilitate cross-functional workshops and manage senior stakeholder engagementIdentify capability gaps, inefficiencies, and optimisation opportunitiesEmbed risk, compliance, and governance considerations into architecture designQualificationsProven experience as a Business Architect / Operating Model Consultant / Transformation LeadStrong background in enterprise or business architecture within large-scale environmentsRequired SkillsHands-on experience with:Business capability modellingProcess optimisation (BPM/BPMN preferred)Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworksExperience working on transformation programmes (banking/FS preferred but not essential)Preferred SkillsExperience in financial services or regulated environmentsBackground in consulting (Big 4 / strategy firms)Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Lean, AgileADVERT DISCLAIMERResearch indicates that men will apply to a role when they only meet 50-60% of the descriptions, however, when looking at women and other minority groups, they can look for up to a 99% match in order to apply to a role.
