Operating across the GCC, Gulf Marketing Group is a dynamic group boasting a diverse portfolio of retail outlets, brands, and consumer and B2B services across key sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals, sports and fitness, real estate, education, and technology.ResponsibilitiesSafe TransportationOperate the school bus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.Ensure the safety of students during transit, including the use of seat belts and other safety measures.Route AdherenceFollow designated bus routes and schedules to pick up and drop off students at assigned locations.Notify the transportation coordinator of any deviations or delays in the route.Vehicle MaintenancePerform routine pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the school bus.Report any mechanical issues or concerns promptly to the transportation coordinator.Student ManagementMaintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus.Enforce bus rules and discipline students as needed, reporting behavioral issues to school authorities.CommunicationCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.Report any incidents or concerns related to students' well‑being during transportation.Emergency PreparednessBe prepared to respond to emergencies, including evacuations and first aid if necessary.Attend training sessions on emergency procedures and protocols.Record KeepingKeep accurate records of daily routes, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.Complete and submit required reports to the transportation coordinator.Customer ServiceProvide courteous and professional customer service to students, parents, and school staff.Establish and maintain positive relationships with passengers.Educational QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.Completion of a school bus driver training program.ExperienceWith 1-3 years experience with at least 1-2 years of experience as a school bus driver.#J-18808-Ljbffr
