Building Electrical & Instrumentation Systems EngineerBuilding Electrical &Instrumentation Systems EngineerReference:442219790ProjectHail & GashaJobLocation:Startingdate1 March 2026Hours/rotation:Rotation of 60 days on siteand 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)Excellent salary packagewith benefitsSingle Status.Accommodation provided bythe company.Transportation provided bythe company.Round trip ticket on eachrotation (Economy class).Prepare assigned technicaldocumentation (of varying technical complexity, depending on skills andexperience), such as basic design of electrical systems (Transformation,Distribution, Lighting, Electrical Protection), Instrumentation (Fire &Gas Detection, Telecom, Monitoring and Regulation), and Automation(particularly, but not limited to, HVAC systems), as well as the technicalmanagement of building components and systems under the supervision of theBuilding Design Project Leader or Building Electrical & InstrumentationSpecialist, ensuring quality while adhering to the assigned timeframe andbudget.Duties and responsibilitiesFollowingthe guidelines provided by the Manager, the Building Electrical &Instrumentation Systems Engineer has the following main responsibilities:Perform the design ofelectrical, instrumentation, and automation systems serving residential andindustrial buildings, such as drafting specifications and/or reports,performing calculations, and managing the technical procurement of assignedcomponents and systems, according to the instructions of more senior figuresand coordinating with other disciplines.Ensure the quality of thedocumentation produced and its compliance with the contractual requirementsof the assigned project, in compliance with the schedule and companystandards.Verify and comment ondocuments produced by vendors and subcontractors during project development.Interact with otherdisciplines to acquire useful information for the design of electrical,instrumentation, and automation systems serving residential and industrialbuildings and collaborate on integrated and interdisciplinary designactivities.Collaborate, within theassigned discipline, on the integrated 3D modeling of the building developedusing BIM methodology.Collaborate in activitiesrelated to work quantity estimation and the preparation of the necessarytechnical documentation for both project procurement and systemimplementation.Assist the Building DesignProject Leader in preparing the technical documentation required in theMaterials Request for Electrical and Instrumentation systems, in accordancewith project requirements.Follow the development ofsupplies for Electrical and Instrumentation systems.Support, where requested,the estimation and quantification activities associated with Electrical andInstrumentation systems, under the responsibility of the Materials & WorkQuantities Estimating & Management group.Assist the functionsresponsible for construction testing and commissioning activities, based onproject requests and needs.Participate, alongside ortemporarily replacing the Specialist, in factory testing activities forElectrical and Instrumentation systems, in close collaboration with theTesting department, as well as in installation, commissioning, and siteacceptance testing activities.Assist the Group Leader orDepartment Manager in ensuring the application and ongoing updating of therelevant standards, procedures, and work instructions.Participate in technicaltraining and share experience with other colleagues regarding designtechniques.Stay abreast of technicalinnovations specific to their discipline, monitoring the market forstate-of-the-art developments and providing technical and commercialassessments of new products, technologies, work cycles, applications, etc.,as requested.Person SpecificationKnowledge& QualificationsUniversity degree/ diplomain Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering or relevantfield.ExperienceCandidates must possess aminimum of 10 years’ relevant construction experience including exposure to electrical,instrumentation or building systems engineering in EPC or industrial projectenvironments.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communications andinterpersonal skillsAttention to detail,management skills.Team-oriented skills,self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performanceand problem resolution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
