OverviewDavid Webb is seeking a Boutique Manager for our Doha boutique. We are one of the world’s most exclusive fine jewelry houses, based and manufactured in New York. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in high jewelry or ultra‑luxury retail is required, along with a proven background in sales, clientelling, and boutique management. Candidates must already be based in Qatar — relocation will not be provided.Company OverviewFounded in New York City in 1948, David Webb is an iconic luxury design house whose namesake founder redefined high jewelry. Known for creating exquisitely crafted, bold, and unique jewelry, David Webb is widely considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.Today, each David Webb creation is imbued with artisanal excellence and craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from a vast archive of over 40,000 original renderings, records, and design ideas. Form is essential in all David Webb jewels, with bold color, hand‑hammered gold, intricate enamel work, and whimsical animal motifs continuing to define the brand’s collections.We are headquartered in a historic Neo‑Classical building on Madison Avenue in New York’s Upper East Side. Over 30 long‑tenured master jewelers continue many of David Webb’s traditions, handcrafting each piece in a workshop directly above the company’s flagship boutique. In addition to its New York City flagship, David Webb operates boutiques in Beverly Hills and Doha and continues to expand its presence throughout the MENA region.Position OverviewThe Boutique Manager for David Webb Doha will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving the growth and success of the boutique within one of the region’s most dynamic luxury markets. This role demands a rare combination of exceptional sales ability, masterful clientelling, and the leadership skills required to operate a high jewelry boutique at the highest level.The successful candidate will bring an established book of UHNW clients in Qatar, a deep and genuine passion for high jewelry, and the commercial vision to elevate David Webb’s presence among Doha’s most discerning collectors and connoisseurs.ResponsibilitiesSales and Business Development:Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed high jewelry sales targets across the MENA region.Leverage an existing UHNW client book to drive revenue and deepen the boutique’s presence within Qatar’s luxury community.Work closely with retail teams to optimize high jewelry assortment planning and stock development, ensuring a compelling and relevant offering for discerning clientele.Actively animate the boutique to create an exceptional high jewelry experience for clients.Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and nurture relationships with VIP clients through bespoke experiences and engagements in high-value environments such as art galleries, private members’ clubs, and exclusive events.Develop a deep understanding of clients’ lifestyles, preferences, and desires to provide highly personalized service and build lasting relationships.Maintain meticulous client records, tracking preferences, purchases, and milestones to ensure seamless and highly personalized continuity of service.Team Leadership & Development:Recruit, build, and lead a dedicated high jewelry team, fostering a culture of excellence, passion, and client‑centricity.Implement comprehensive training and coaching programs for both the high jewelry team and broader retail teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and client engagement.Set and maintain exceptional standards of boutique presentation, ensuring the environment consistently reflects the pinnacle of luxury.Product Expertise & Market Insight:Maintain in-depth knowledge of the high jewelry market, including trends, competitor activity, and client preferences.Provide insights and feedback to regional and global teams on product development and market opportunities.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years’ experience in high jewelry or ultra‑luxury retail, with a proven track record in sales, clientelling, and boutique management.An established book of UHNW clients within Qatar, with demonstrated ability to cultivate, retain, and grow high‑value client relationships.Exceptional clientelling skills, with a deeply intuitive, relationship‑led approach that builds trust, anticipates needs, and fosters lasting loyalty.Consistent record of exceeding sales targets within a high jewelry or ultra‑luxury environment, with strong commercial acumen.Extensive experience working with UHNW individuals and a deep understanding of the discretion and nuance required.Proven leadership ability, with experience building and elevating high‑performing boutique teams.Extensive knowledge of precious gemstones, rare materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.Experience with heritage jewelry houses or established high jewelry maisons is essential.Impeccable personal presentation, refined communication skills, and cultural fluency across Qatar’s diverse lu
