OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boatswain to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Boatswain, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the ship, ensuring the safety of all crew members and passengers.ResponsibilitiesOversee and supervise all deck crew activities, including loading and unloading cargo, handling lines, and performing routine maintenance tasks.Maintain and repair ship equipment, including ropes, winches, and lifeboats.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.Communicate effectively with other crew members to ensure smooth operation of the ship.Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any issues to the Captain.Train new crew members in proper safety procedures and techniques.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Boatswain on a commercial vessel.Fluency in English is essential for communication with other crew members.Must have own valid visa to work in UAE.Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.Attention to detail and ability to problem solve quickly.This position is open to candidates of all levels.
