BIM Modeler – Utilities

EGIS is currently looking for a highly skilled BIM Modeler Architecture & Landscape to help us deliver multi-disciplinary projects. The role will be placed at the BIM management team level. The role is expected to lead the BIM modelling for architecture and landscape discipline as well help with setup training and development of automation around Autodesk Revit ACC and Navisworks with the project BIM manager. This role is not limited to just BIM modelling tasks only.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the projects compliance with the given policies and processes and to ensure timely implementation and completionWorks with BIM lead Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements layouts flow sheets assemblies isometrics component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures and to ensure timely implementation and completionUnderstand BIM modelling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completionReview each drawing for readability presentation and adherence to standards in accordance to company QA/QC processGood knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric familiesStrong knowledge in LOD requirementsCollaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasksGood knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks with experience of clash detection and producing clash reportAble to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the modelPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateDevelop and maintain accurate 3D models of dry and wet utility systems using Autodesk Civil 3D and other BIM toolsAnalyze and optimize utility layouts to improve project efficiency and reduce conflictsCreate detailed documentation and drawings for construction and stakeholder reviewImplement BIM standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure project coherenceStay updated on the latest advancements in Civil 3D BIM and utility design technologiesProvide technical support and guidance to junior team members on modeling and BIM practicesParticipate in client meetings to present utility designs and address technical queriesQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field with a focus on utility design and modelingAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCADExtensive experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) in civil engineering projectsIn-depth knowledge of dry and wet utility systems and civil infrastructure designStrong 3D modeling skills and ability to create detailed accurate modelsFamiliarity with GIS software and its integration with BIM workflowsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsAutodesk Civil 3D certification is preferredRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
