BIM Modeler - MEP

Job DescriptionThe BIM Modeler - MEP will be responsible for the creation, development, and maintenance of all BIM files for our unique engineering products. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the content we provide to architects and designers, enhancing our ability to meet their specific needs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBIM Modeling: Create, modify, and manage Revit & Civil3D models for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components and infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ICON's project standards.Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate MEP systems effectively into the overall project design.Clash Detection: Utilize Revit, Civil3D and Navisworks to perform clash detection and resolution, addressing conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements.Design Support: Generate detailed drawings and documentation for MEP systems, supporting the design process with accurate and comprehensive information.Standards Compliance: Adhere to ICON’s modelling standards and best practices, ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements and industry regulations.Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks and model reviews to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.Collaboration: Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings, providing insights and solutions for MEP-related issues.Model Updates: Update Revit models based on design changes, feedback, and project requirements, ensuring timely and accurate revisions.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent to relevant engineering discipline.Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM Modelling (Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks etc.)Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D modeling software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
