Job Description As a BI Platform Admin Engineer at Syngenta, based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the organization's Qlik Sense and PowerBI environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing and configuring PowerBI and Qlik Sense, including site and cloud-related components - Providing troubleshooting and diagnostic support for platform issues, such as incident, problem, and service outage management - Managing platform upgrades, patch and bug fix deployment, as well as implementing new innovative features and extensions - Ensuring platform availability, reliability, and identifying cost optimization opportunities - Implementing platform security measures and ensuring compliance with related standards Your qualifications for this role should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent technical training and experience - Certification in Qlik Sense Administration or PowerBI admin - Experience with AWS, Azure Cloud - AWS Certification for Cloud architecture knowledge (Good to have) Additionally, you should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with external teams and vendors - Agile Scrum/DevOps knowledge With over 9 years of experience, including at least 3 years of Qlik Sense and PowerBI administration experience in a multinational environment, you will be expected to provide technical leadership and guidance to self-service users and developers for best practices. Your role will involve consulting self-service teams for new integrations and implementing best practices for platform cost optimization.
