Job Description In this role as a Benefits Administrator III at UKG, you will play a crucial part in the employee benefits life cycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Processing daily deliverables for multiple customers efficiently and with a strong focus on customer service and quality. This includes tasks such as handling life events, new hires, haste enrollments, Evidence of Insurability (EOI) forms, dependent eligibility verification, work status events, appeals, HSA administration, and payroll adjustments. - Reviewing and processing open enrollment activities, including file deliveries and census files. You should have a good understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) requirements and be able to troubleshoot EDI connections and file delivery issues. - Researching and resolving system errors, drafting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when necessary, and interpreting Benefits Plan Documents for EDI and OE processes. It is essential to have the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and suggest updates in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed. - Completing customer data audits based on pre-defined SOPs, tracking time spent on tasks/activities, and following departmental protocols. You should also drive to specialize in certain tasks and communicate process improvement ideas with leadership. Qualification: - 3 years of work experience in US Benefits related teams. - Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes. - Working knowledge of employee life-cycle U.S. Benefits Administration, ACA, related regulations, ERISA guidelines, and HIPAA Compliance. - Ability to work in US shifts. Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Exposure to Open Enrollment activities. - Working knowledge of EDI configurations is desirable. - Strong background in customer-facing deliveries. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). - Industry-level benefits certification will be a plus. Interpersonal Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self-starter who is motivated to succeed. - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks under stringent timelines. - Highly motivated and team-oriented. Education/Certification/License: - Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
