Basketball Coach

<div><p>SportPlex is looking for a passionate and energetic<b>Basketball Coach</b>to join our<b>Sports Department</b>and help develop the next generation of players.</p><p>If you love teaching the game, mentoring athletes, and creating a fun, positive training environment, we would love to hear from you!</p><p><b>Location:</b>SportPlex</p><p><b>Department:</b>Sports</p><p><b>Reporting to:</b>Sports Manager</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Teach fundamental basketball skills such as<b>shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and footwork</b></li><li>Lead<b>training sessions, clinics, and development programs</b>for youth and adults</li><li>Coach teams during<b>leagues and tournaments</b></li><li>Develop<b>practice plans and game strategies</b></li><li>Encourage<b>teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship</b></li><li>Ensure a<b>safe and positive environment</b>for all players</li><li>Support<b>basketball camps, leagues, and special events</b></li><li>Communicate effectively with<b>players and parents</b></li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Background in<b>Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or Sports Management</b></li><li>Previous<b>basketball coaching experience</b></li><li>Playing experience at<b>high school, collegiate, or club level</b></li><li>Experience working with<b>youth athletes</b></li></ul><p>At<b>SportPlex</b>, we are committed to creating a positive sports culture that focuses on<b>player development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game</b>.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
