Barista (Cafe Java)

Cafe Java at Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Barista you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment.Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks including espresso-based beverages drip coffee and specialty drinksGreet customers warmly and take orders accuratelyOperate and maintain espresso machines coffee grinders and other cafe equipmentHandle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) systemMaintain a clean and organized work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsRecommend and upsell coffee products and cafe menu itemsAssist in inventory management and restocking suppliesCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations and excellent customer serviceStay updated on coffee trends and share product knowledge with customersQualifications : High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a barista preferredStrong knowledge of coffee types brewing methods and cafe operationsProficiency in operating espresso machines and other cafe equipmentExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personalityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic math skills and cash handling experienceFood handling certification preferredPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsFlexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidaysFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusAdditional Information : Flying ElephantRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Corporate Accounting,Facilities Management,Account Development,Accountancy,Jdbc,ITI Experience: years Vacancy: 1
